Forest School Leader, Yoga teacher, BEd in Primary Education ages 3-11 with Qualified Teacher Status, Mother (to a wild thing!), book worm and lover of all things creative, wild and free. Having worked with children for over 15 years from ages 3 to 11, I am inspired by their natural curiosity. I fell in love with Forest School because it gives children the opportunity to develop holistically: to be themselves, to explore, create, to develop physically and emotionally and to grow relationships with others.
As a qualified teacher I found my calling with the Forest School ethos and approach to learning. It combines activity and adventure with education, following the lead of the children, and sparking off their interests. You will find me in my outdoor classroom, helping children build physical and emotional skills, creating a sense of belonging whilst playing in nature.
bio coming! currently in the forest!

Joining them both in Little Sprouts over the past few years has been so much fun, helping children explore and learn through nature. Forest School enables children to develop their resilience, emotional and social skills as well as having a blast outside!
After 20 years of working in a classroom I decided to expand my knowledge and train in Forest School. I've always enjoyed the outdoors and nature so it was a natural progression. After 20 years of working in a classroom I decided to expand my knowledge and train in Forest School. I've always enjoyed the outdoors and nature so it was a natural progression. It's great to see the childrens curiosity and enjoyment come to life when they are in a natural environment. I saw this in my own three children who we took on many a trip to the countryside. I embrace the values of Forest School where children learn through child lead activities, enabling them to gain self esteem and a sense of belonging. I strongly believe that it gives the children a greater sense of well being.
Luci is a trained school therapy dog & often joins the team on our Holiday Camps at Rufford Primary School. She is a huge hit with the children & is a 10/10 good doggo!
