Stay and Play sessions

 We provide families with the opportunity to get out of the house and spend time outdoors together, to share our passion for understanding and respecting nature, to connect with other families and to allow children to play freely and safely in a natural environment. 

Our sessions are held in an enclosed woodland space at Heart of the Country, Swinfen. 

We incorporate warm up games with focuses such as exploring the environment, honing listening skills, turn taking or building confidence as part of a group. 

The vibe is relaxed, children can choose the type of play that suits them, from tree swings to take home crafts and everything in between. We set up play opportunities linked to the season, often using natural materials to inspire children to get curious and creative with natural objects.

Parents are welcome to join in the play or our leaders will happily entertain your little ones while you sit back and enjoy a free warm drink.

At the heart of the space and of our sessions is the campfire, where we gather to welcome our guests, share a campfire snack, or just to have a good old catch up.
